ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

We are committed to being an inclusive venue and welcome all members of the local and wider community to enjoy roller skating with us.
If you, or someone in your group, has any accessibility requirements or requires additional assistance during your visit, we encourage you to contact us in advance. Our friendly customer service team will be happy to discuss your needs and help make appropriate arrangements. You can contact us by telephoning

Where required, we can:

Reserve an accessible parking space close to the venue;

Arrange for a member of staff to assist with entry to and departure from the venue;

Provide access via our fire-exit doors which are equipped with ramps to assist wheelchair users. These accessible entrances are identified by the numbers 3 and 4 - shown inside a blue square on the venue plan below.
The venue has:

Accessible toilet facilities; and
-
There are no issues for wheelchair access throughout the venue including on and around the rink itself.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome at the venue. If you intend to visit with an assistance dog, we recommend contacting us in advance so that we can discuss any specific requirements and help ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible for you and your dog.
NB: unfortunately, for health & safety reasons, assistance dogs are not permitted on the rink.
Emergency Evacuation
In the event of an emergency, our staff are trained to assist visitors who may require additional support. If a wheelchair user or other guest with limited mobility is unable to leave via the usual exits, an alternative evacuation route is available via the exits nearest the garden. These are marked on the plan below.

Essential Companions
We welcome essential companions accompanying guests who require support. An essential companion is someone who provides significant assistance to a guest to enable them to access and enjoy the venue safely and comfortably.
Essential companions are admitted free of charge whether they choose to skate or spectate.
To help us make appropriate arrangements and ensure a smooth visit, we kindly ask that guests requiring additional assistance or the support of an essential companion contact the venue in advance, where possible.
While advance notice is appreciated and helps us prepare for your visit, we will always do our best to accommodate accessibility needs even where prior notice has not been possible.
